I always feel scared, if i don't draw for a few days, that i might somehow lose the skill in my sleep. In a 'if you don't use it, you'll lose it' sort of way. Been v.busy making cards + crafts lately, so i was glad to escape + brush up my draughtsmanship!

what a beautiful work . it is increadible ! i know lots of good painters that aren`t good drawers . it isn`t your case . you are good constructing the image by lines and by spots .
don`t worry about lose the hand for painting or drawing , i believe that after feew years working hard and discovering about the `secrets`of the tecnique , you can spend a good time without produce nothing , because it is allways in the eye . i mean . the eye never stop to learn and improve it self , even when you aren`t paing atention , after to learn to paint , your eye will always be observing the `dancings `of the light all over the world .

I think you're right that the eye is always working, even if the hand is not - I seem to always be translating images from my eye into paintings in my mind... But I am one of those people who worries needlessly sometimes!
Sorry I take so long to post - I have just been so busy at the moment, taking work to craft fairs, and doing other things, that I haven't had time to post - but I will put some more up soon! Alos, I will call by your blog again, because it always gives me pleasure to look at.
